What will be covered in the webinar?

We’ll take a closer look at Spain’s Plastic Tax, which came into effect in January, 2023 and is a tax on non-reusable plastic packaging waste. Its goal is to encourage businesses to switch to more sustainable packaging options and reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills and oceans.
Also covered in the webinar will be France and Germany's Extended Producer Responsibility regulations, which have been law since 2022. They place the responsibility for managing a product's end-of-life on the producer rather than the consumer. This means that businesses must take steps to ensure their products are recyclable and properly disposed of.
