Amazon is reimbursing eligible FBA sellers €1,250 toward Irish VAT registration and two years of filing services. If you're not yet selling on Amazon.ie, this is a great time to expand — and we'll take care of the compliance side for you.
What's included
Amazon's fixed reimbursement of €1,250 (net of VAT) covers:
- Irish VAT registration — we register your business with the Revenue Commissioners
- Two years of VAT filings — we prepare and submit your Irish returns from the date your VAT number is issued
Are you eligible?
To qualify, you need to meet all of the following before 30 June 2026:
- No Irish VAT number uploaded to Seller Central before 1 February 2026
- Activate inventory storage in Ireland via Seller Central (FBA Inventory Settings → Cross-Border Fulfilment Settings → "Yes, I want to store in Ireland")
- Sell on Amazon.ie via FBA for at least 12 months
- Sign up with Taxually before 30 June 2026
- Submit your VAT registration documents within 60 days of signing up
- Upload your Irish VAT number to Seller Central within 15 days of receiving it
- Hold an active European Selling on Amazon account throughout the promotion period
How to claim
- Sign up with Taxually — we'll confirm your eligibility and notify Amazon
- Send us your documents — we'll tell you exactly what's needed; just get everything to us within 60 days
- Upload your VAT number — once issued, add it to Seller Central within 15 days
- Amazon reimburses you — €1,250 is credited to your account, usually within three months, as a "Miscellaneous Adjustment"
A note on ongoing compliance
Once you're storing inventory in Ireland, you'll have ongoing VAT obligations — including regular returns and, in some cases, Intrastat reporting. Your Taxually plan covers two years of filings from day one, so you're covered.
⚠️ If you deactivate inventory placement in Ireland within 12 months, Amazon may recover up to €1,250 from your account. You'll have 14 days' notice to reactivate before this applies.
The deadline is 30 June 2026 — and Amazon can close this early.
